THE MYTH —

As is written on the cornerstone of old training grounds of the Imperial Academy: A soldier is an instrument — The Sword. Penned by Eligar’s hand with a careful tap of a chisel, it is the only surviving piece of the Academy’s first lessons on combat. A fortuitous General, not unlike the Duke for which she fought, her rage is what is most discussed in surviving documents. Eligar the Vicious. Eligar the For. Eligar the Sword.

Beginning as a soldier indoctrinated into the Spanish army, she was captured by the Round Table in a skirmish. A kicking, screaming lump of steel armor who fought off the Table single-handedly and who, upon being captured, almost clawed out the eyes of the Duke himself. It was not long after that, Eligar joined the Table. Her personal diary was unearthed with one of the remaining pages saying, I wanted none but for peace, but I am only good for war, leading many Imperial Historians to believe that Eligar held true to her ruthless mythology.
