FASHION — The past decade has seen the subduing of fashions worn by Capitolists. Wealth is at a late stage to the degree that those with the most power and money do not need to show off their wealth. As such, stealth wealth is a major trend.
ARCHITECTURE — B.D.D. Brutalist and Minimalist designs are favored as of the past quarter of a century.
CULTURE — Opulence is valued above all else, and a work ethic is valued only in regards to those who can build more wealth and social power.
*CELEBRITY & ART — A recent art renaissance has brought forth an emphasis on film, music, fashion, etc. Victors and citizens of District 1 are allocated to these roles as artists, albeit certain Capitolists are also famous for their creative proclivities.
SHORTAGES — Shortages are common throughout the Districts due to climate change’s affects. However, it seems that no one in the Capitol suspects the true nature of these shortages, besides those of a high enough rank to be in the know.
