OVERVIEW.

25-30+. TAKEN. Your sibling, the Victor, has always been known for her ruthlessness, having had her teeth filed down to sharp points in order to better maim her victims. But, You know her better than this. In fact, your sister is the one who, long before her games, was wracked with guilt. You would pat down her hair at night, as you two shared a bed, and tell her, “Thank you… thank you…” She would hug you back, and her tears would soak the front of your nightgown. You do this even now, even after her mind has turned rank with alcohol, and she curses you and all your other siblings. You know the full extent of all that she has given, and you know that President Snow chose you on purpose, especially given the weeks prior to the Reaping. Your Victor sibling, arrested and held under interrogation after suspicion that you two worked in cahoots to help the Victors of the 98th and 99th Games win. Perhaps this true (after all, a D3 Tribute was a close ally to the winners of 98th and a D3 Tribute won the 99th). Still, your sister suffers by your hand, and you walk free. Thus, you know why you are fired from your position as Gamemaker and chosen for such a sadistic Game. If anything would break your sister, make her wholly loyal, alone, and pliant, it would be your death.

Irony is that she knows nothing of your involvement with the Rebels, but is that not what makes the guilt all the more potent? You with this righteous desire to tear down the world, though you have always had a pragmatic sense of justice. Guilt has left you moth-balled, and now you hunger for more than just change. You want to make the world anew – you are hurting the one you love, aren’t you? It is because of this that you, THE AUTEUR, help THE HAWK concoct a plan to launch the Rebellion that will make her sacrifice worth it.

QUICK FACTS:

CONNECTIONS.

THE HAMLET — You have worked with THE HAMLET for the past two Games, particularly with the 98th Games. It was under your guidance and deliberate action that you were able to prevent any major fallout from the Gamemakers’ planned assaults. They have never thanked you for this help, and you cannot say you blame them. You see so much of your sister in them, it is painful. A part of your longs to be closer to them, to at least get a thank-you, but you also know that you owe them nothing. They see you with the blood on your hands of at least 3 Games worth of Tributes.

THE HAWK — Working alongside each other, many would assume you two know a lot about one another. In some ways, you do. You know the secrets that they carry, most of which THE BERSERKER isn’t even aware of. Sometimes you wonder if they truly are that kind or if they are as conniving as is necessary to survive as a Rebel. There is a dichotomy between these selves you find perplexing, but you also see yourself. Are you not a series of conflicts? You are a savior and a murderer. You are rebellious and complicit. But still, you wonder, especially as you enter the Games, which one are you? And which one are they?

THE REAPER — The biotech and genius surgeon that you convinced to join the Rebel plot. You were mildly familiar with one another, given they are often in charge of nursing the Victors back to tip-top form, and you are a Gamemaker. From the side, as a fellow low-man related to the Games, you saw them. They perplexed you, but you ultimately decided you were safe in asking them to join. Were you?
